HR Coordinator

  1. Provide recruitment assistance to senior HR team and undertake recruitment activity for assigned position from sourcing to selection or as advised, in accordance with recruitment policy/ established recruitment process for positions undertaken.

  2. Coordinate/Facilitate and present joining formalities as well as induction and orientation and subsequently follow-up on progress of new recruits in their jobs through the induction & probation period.

  3. Coordinate and administer on the system requirement for the process of performance management. Update the performance appraisal system with respect to hierarchy details, role profiles to ensure its accuracy is maintained all the times.

  4. Coordinate on staff grievances & disciplinary issues as assigned with the employee and the line managers for process compliance & efficiency & satisfactory resolution.

  5. Coordinate on EOS process and facilitate smooth transition of employees exiting the organization by coordinating with the relevant departments and arranging exit interviews as well as ensuring payment of final settlement dues and cancellation of visas within appropriate time frame.

  6. Prepare all official correspondence relating to probation confirmations, salary certificates, disciplinary issues and the miscellaneous letters as per approved employee request in a timely manner.

  7. Generating Reports when assigned to.

  8. Record management updates.



Skills Required:

  1. Minimum Graduate in any discipline
  2. Proficient in MS Office
  3. Oral and written communication skills
  4. Knowledge of spoken Arabic advantageous
  5. Exposure to multi-cultural workforce/ environment
  6. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  7. 1 to 2 years relevant experience.

Project Manager

  1. Obtain the drawings of the project, assess the material and manpower requirement accurately and hand over the material requirement to the Purchaser to enable procurement.
  2. Receive quotations from labor sub-contractors, identify the most cost effective contractor, obtain approval from the GM and arrange the appointment.
  3. Prepare accurate project programs, clearly indicate the time-frames and activities involved in the project and monitor progress against the plan taking corrective action where required through effective coordination with the client, contractors, etc.
  4. Supervise the site regularly, keep the client updated on the progress of the project and attend to all technical and engineering problems, additional manpower requirements, drawing changes, etc. in an effective and timely manner thereby achieving client requirements and quality standards.
  5. Conduct quality checks on works carried out to ensure that the products meet all client specifications.
  6. Hand over drawings, manuals, keys, etc. on project completion and receive the completion certificate from the client. Organize the dismantling and dispatch of tools, equipments and material on project completion and prepare reports on utilization.
  7. Receive snag lists from consultants, arrange sub-contractors for various works, and monitor all jobs for timely completions and compliance to client specifications.

Skills Required:
  1. Degree in civil Engineering
  2. Project management skills
  3. 7-10 years of experience with about 3 years in interior business / industry.
  4. Good Communication Knowledge of spoken Arabic will be an advantage.
  5. Attention to details and concern for quality.
  6. Dynamic and proactive personality.

Senior Plant Metallurgist

Our client is one of the worlds largest producers of zinc as well as a substantial producer of copper, lead, gold and silver. The group currently has mining operations located in Australia and Asia and a large portfolio of advanced and early stage exploration projects through Australia, Asia and North America.

They are now recruiting a Senior Plant Metallurgist to lead the Metallurgical operational function for the concentrator including overseeing production grade, throughput, variances and losses. Key to this role will be your ability to identify and deliver continuous improvement initiatives to the mill process along with day-to-day trouble shooting of operational issues, including supervising junior members of staff.

To be considered for this role, you will hold a relevant tertiary qualification and have considerable metallurgical skill in base metals floatation. Knowledge of Foxboro process control systems will be highly regarded, as will skills in VBA programming (for reporting purposes).

For this opportunity, you will be offered a four week commute roster (two weeks of five days on, two days off, followed by seven days on, then seven days off) ex-Townsville or Mt. Isa. The remuneration package includes an attractive base salary, site allowance, quarterly bonus, and a range of salary sacrifice options.

Onsite accommodation is fully air-conditioned and includes room cleaning service.
